From the Tall Grass Prairie to the Caney River Valley, round-up dominated
certain times each year. From that concept, Fall Round-Up on Happy Hill was
born in the hearts and minds of the Happy Hill leadership and congregation--an annual gathering on the Hill to enjoy good worship,
fellowship, food and fun.
Every second weekend in September, Happy Hill celebrates the days of
Cowboys and Indians. Fall Round-Up fills the air with campfire smoke, dusty
horses, country music, down-to-earth preaching and lots of good, earthy food.
Real cowboys, Indians, Europeans, and city folks attend this country church
event. The beautiful Oklahoma background is an ideal western setting and men,
women, and children dress in their authentic cowboy duds.
All Round-Up activities are held on Happy Hill's 45 acres of worship and
recreational area on a ridge overlooking the Caney River Valley.
